Social Media Redesign
For my final capstone project at the University of Memphis, I re-envisioned the social media accounts for LSS. After talking to administration, we determined the following about the current system:
Note Not made in partnership with the school system. I used their input to create a separate case study for the sole purpose of my project.
Pros-
LES focuses on what’s going on in the classrooms
LPS has creative content
Overall good coverage of group successes
Cons-
Not taking advantage of each social platform
LSS just shares others’ content
Inconsistent themes
Using this information, I created social media strategies that focused on the pros, while changing the cons. This new system focuses on the family of LSS and helps foster transparency between parents and faculty. This is why I focused on meeting faculty and students through social media post, and seeing what goes on in the classroom.
Faculty Spotlight
